Overview

Hussar: Hussars combine speed, sight, and resistance to conversion with strong pressure against Monks. Use them to raid exposed economy, scout routes, and force the opponent to protect more than one location.

Plan and execution

Send small groups around the edge of the base to find an open woodline or gold camp, then withdraw before defenses gather. Keep Hussars near siege or a ranged army to intercept Monks and distract units pursuing the main force. Use their mobility to revisit the base from a new angle instead of feeding them into a fixed defense.

Risks and adaptation

Spearmen, Camels, and defensive buildings can stop repeated dives. Avoid attacking a walled base head-on, and do not spend the whole army on raids when the opponent is preparing a decisive push elsewhere.
