Overview

Jihad! requires defeating any two of three Crusader cities before Ascalon’s Wonder timer expires. Build a quick economy while containing the first Tripoli Guard assault, then choose a city route that matches your siege strength.

Plan and execution

Start Villager production and secure the walled base before the Tripoli Guard reaches the city. Add the missing military infrastructure, including a Siege Workshop and Monastery, then use the early defense to build toward Imperial Age and a focused siege force. Scout Ascalon, Tyre, and Tiberias to choose the two most accessible cities; protect your Relics where routes remain safe and pressure the Wonder threat before committing to optional targets. Keep production active while the army moves so reinforcements arrive at the siege rather than after it.

Risks and adaptation

The opponents begin or advance into Imperial Age and can attack while you prepare. Do not split the force across all three cities, and track Ascalon’s Wonder timer so a distant Relic or side objective does not consume the window for victory.
