Keshik raid and gold-sustain plan
Keshik: Keshiks can turn a successful cavalry raid into added gold while applying pressure, giving them a useful role in long matches where gold reserves matter. They are less expensive than some elite cavalry choices but do not replace a stronger heavy-cavalry line in every direct fight.

Plan and execution
Use their mobility to reach exposed Villagers, trade routes, or siege support, then withdraw before a spear screen surrounds them. Keep the group attacking useful targets so its economic trait contributes while it fights. In late game, use them to stretch the opponent’s defenses while saving scarce gold for the units or upgrades the main battle requires.
Risks and adaptation
Spearmen, Camels, and defensive fire still punish careless cavalry engagements. Keshiks are not a reason to take a losing fight; preserve them for raids or choose a stronger line when the match requires a direct frontline.
