Overview

Use an early Stable to turn Castle Age arrival into mobile pressure against exposed economy.

Plan and execution

Reserve food and gold during the advance, then produce Knights promptly. Scout for walls and Spearmen; target isolated gold, woodlines, or Villagers and keep an escape route. Expand production only while Villagers and the next transition stay funded.

Risks and adaptation

Spearmen, Monks, and Town Centers punish dives. Withdraw when the defender is ready and avoid sacrificing economic queues to keep pressure going.

Decision example

The first Knights should leave the Stable with a target in mind: a distant gold mine, isolated woodline, or newly placed Town Center. Keep a scout ahead of them so a Monk or Spearman group does not appear only after the charge. Use movement to force worker idle time, then retreat and heal or regroup rather than trading into Town Center fire. Add siege or ranged support when walls block the route. If the opponent has prepared every exposed resource, turn the Knights into map control while expanding at home.
