No Man’s Land two-base defense
No Man’s Land requires managing a northern base against Slavs and a western base against Teutons. Early attacks can arrive at the north quickly, so establish a Castle and a second Town Center before spreading the army too thinly.

Overview
No Man’s Land requires managing a northern base against Slavs and a western base against Teutons. Early attacks can arrive at the north quickly, so establish a Castle and a second Town Center before spreading the army too thinly.
Plan and execution
Use idle Villagers near the northern Town Center to build a second Town Center by the southwest stone, and scout nearby geese to accelerate the food economy. Place a Castle at the north base before expanding the western position. Keep separate forces for the two fronts, then ally with the Tatar refugees if their free Kipchaks and Castle bonuses fit the plan.
Risks and adaptation
The player must defend two economies and multiple directions. Do not leave the north without a Castle, and avoid triggering the refugee alliance or later enemy events before both bases can withstand pressure.
