The unit gold discount can support an early gold-using line such as Militia or Archers, while forage wood income helps cover Farms or production. Choose one opening and keep the food economy intact. On water, stronger ships are worth investing in when the fleet can defend Fishing Ships and control a valuable crossing.
Composition, counters, and transition
Organ Guns are a powerful ranged siege choice from a Castle, but need a screen against fast attackers and sufficient gold for continued production. Caravels have a separate fleet role on water.
