Overview

Prodigal Son starts under attacks from the water and has little safe stone. Recover the nearby Relic, wall important approaches, and reach Imperial Age quickly enough to contest the stronger navy.

Plan and execution

Send Light Cavalry ahead of the Monk to clear Wolves near the northeast Relic. Garrison Archers in the waterside towers and establish a protected economy behind walls at natural chokepoints. Upgrade Galleys to War Galleys early and build enough ships to repel raids while advancing to Imperial Age. Add a larger fleet once the economy can sustain it, and use siege against coastal production only after the sea route is secure.

Risks and adaptation

Stone deposits are scarce and exposed, making broad walling expensive. The enemy already fields a strong Imperial navy, so avoid committing ships in small groups before upgrades and numbers are ready.
