Supremacy makes Spanish Villagers tougher and able to defend themselves better against light raiders, improving their value on exposed building and repair jobs. Use it to support a forward position rather than turning workers into the main army.
Plan and execution
Research Supremacy when the Spanish economy can afford it and forward Villagers need to build, repair, or reinforce a Castle, Tower, or wall near the front. Keep them grouped with military support, use their faster construction to establish a safe staging point, and pull them back when a major army arrives. It also reduces losses from small raids at home, preserving the economy while the main force is away.
Risks and adaptation
Even upgraded Villagers do not match fully upgraded military units and require careful control. Do not send builders into a prepared army or rely on them to hold a breach; use them to establish and repair a position behind a screen.
