Overview

Takeover starts with limited space and early raids, but four Fortified Churches can create Villagers while protecting local economies. Secure those sites early, then expand into Castle Age with Tamar supporting the army.

Plan and execution

Build up quickly and advance toward Castle Age while avoiding the Brigands until the economy is ready. Prioritize the four Fortified Churches because each provides Villagers and defensive cover for nearby resources. Use Tamar as a mobile healer behind Scout or Knight groups; her support and speed help raids without replacing a combat escort. Defeat the Churches’ immediate threats first, then take the Castle, Turks, Aznauri, Cumans, and Yury in an order that limits simultaneous raids.

Risks and adaptation

Seljuks and Cumans begin raiding early, so a greedy boom without a church network can lose workers. Tamar cannot attack and should not travel alone, while Brigands may be left undisturbed until the main army can handle them.
