The Old Tiger temple-defense plan
The Old Tiger asks Bayinnaung to move between four Temples while several rival forces contest the region. The player starts with a strong army but limited ability to replace losses, so measured engagements and captured resources matter more than constant attacks.

Overview
The Old Tiger asks Bayinnaung to move between four Temples while several rival forces contest the region. The player starts with a strong army but limited ability to replace losses, so measured engagements and captured resources matter more than constant attacks.
Plan and execution
Move the army from the eastern foothold toward the Temples in sequence, securing one area before crossing into the next. Keep Monks and siege behind the frontline; use Monks to support wounded units and convert isolated enemy troops when the approach is safe. Scout each Rakhine position before committing, and exploit the factions’ defensive posture by fighting the force around the current objective instead of drawing every rival into one battle. Protect the War Galleys from Portuguese Caravels and avoid spending the limited siege on low-value targets.
Risks and adaptation
The army lacks several Imperial Age upgrades, so prolonged exchanges favor opponents with complete technology. Do not split the force among all four Temples or fight multiple bases simultaneously. Retreat to recover and reposition between objectives, and preserve siege and Monks for the fortified approaches where they have the greatest impact.
