Bayinnaung

Campaign mission sequence

Expand Burmese power through campaigns across mainland Southeast Asia. Mission order and scenario notes: 1. The Burmese Tigers — Tabinshwehti and Bayinnaung push south as the Toungoo kingdom expands. Eliminate Hanthawaddy’s king, then break into Prome and secure its Monument; Shan raids and the Portuguese presence can complicate the advance 2. The Mandalay Cobra — Bayinnaung defends Pagan while neighboring powers raid the city from land and sea. Protect the monasteries and their relic income, gather the required wealth, then lead a strike against Ava and its hidden king 3. The Royal Peacock — After the king’s assassination, Bayinnaung becomes entangled in a contest among rival claimants. Escape Pegu, find his army, and decide whether to establish his rule by defeating the pretenders or outlasting them with a Wonder 4. The White Elephant — Bayinnaung’s army crosses the mountain passes into neighboring kingdoms while racing against the end of the season. Recover relics from the scattered settlements and deliver one to each marked monastery; the low population limit rewards careful use of the troops you find 5. The Old Tiger — In Bayinnaung’s final campaign, the aging king’s sons invade the Rakhine coast while he undertakes a pilgrimage. Preserve the divided land and naval forces, escort him to each temple, then use the resources unlocked by the pilgrimage to defeat the remaining enemies
