Overview

Zipa and Zaque includes decisions that alter units and resources in later scenarios. Decide whether to favor immediate rewards or long-term carryover, then use an aggressive opening to keep the many fronts manageable.

Plan and execution

Choose whether to return the Temple loot or keep part of it based on whether the next scenario benefits more from extra Guecha reinforcements or immediate gold. Bring the requested Relic to the Decrepit Temple if Priestesses and Temple Guards will strengthen the rest of the campaign; keep it only when the recurring Relic advantage is more valuable. During the mission, attack decisively and monitor diplomacy so Quemuenchatocha does not gain an advantage from missed triggers.

Risks and adaptation

The carryover choice cannot be judged only by the current mission’s stockpile. Higher difficulty increases the number of simultaneous threats; keep the army coordinated and do not allow an opponent to claim the diplomacy objective while you pursue optional loot.
