Baltic Sea
Baltic Sea is a Random Map themed around the arm of the Atlantic Ocean in northeastern Europe between Scandinavia, Finland, and the Baltic states. Its in-game starts and resource placements are generated for each match.

Map character
Scout both the land Trade Route and the naval connection across the sea before committing the opening force. These routes create linked but distinct control points. Decide whether the army can secure the land stations or a fleet can contest the water, then add the second front after reinforcements arrive.
What to scout
A naval opening is useful when the sea route can be protected and turned into safe movement or trade control. If ships cannot be supported, hold the land route and keep enough troops near the coast to prevent an isolated landing. Avoid dividing the army and fleet before knowing which side the opponent is contesting.
Connected land and naval routes
Baltic Sea places teams on opposite sides of a large sea, with connected land and naval Trade Routes. Route stations on land and shipping access across water form linked objectives. Jagiellon, Oldenburg, Vasa, Wettin, Wittelsbach and Sámi settlements are possible. Crabat and Inquisitor are the named outlaws.
Secure a route the army can hold
Scout the land route and water connection before splitting the opening army. A player can pressure trade by land while a fleet contests naval access, but dividing forces too early may leave both objectives undefended. Choose the route that the current composition can protect, then add a second front when reinforcements arrive. Baltic Sea is a water map from Knights of the Mediterranean.
