British Brigade
British Brigade is an Imperial Age Consulate technology for the Chinese and Indians when allied with the British. It delivers 16 Roger’s Rangers and five Falconets, combining ranged infantry with artillery in one long research. Definitive Edition renamed the infantry from Skirmishers to Rangers in update 14.43676.

Effect & research conditions
The technology takes 90 seconds and currently costs 2,300 Export; it cost 2,400 Export before Definitive Edition. Completion sends the 16 Roger’s Rangers and five Falconets as a group. The Rangers can attack enemy Infantry while the Falconets threaten structures and other artillery targets. Keep population capacity and a safe route available for both parts of the delivery.

When to research
Select it for a prepared Imperial Age push when the army needs both anti-infantry ranged fire and siege support. The 90-second research makes it unsuitable as an instant answer to a raid. Protect the Falconets with the infantry and supporting units, and compare the large Export cost with other British Consulate options before committing.
A mixed force with complementary roles
The 16 Rangers and five Falconets arrive together but have different battlefield jobs. Rangers provide the infantry attack, while Falconets add artillery pressure. Keep the guns screened and avoid sending them into range before the supporting line is ready; splitting the delivery can leave one component exposed.
Both costs and unit names changed
The listed Export cost is 2,300 in Definitive Edition, compared with 2,400 before that release. The infantry also changed from Skirmishers to Roger’s Rangers in update 14.43676. Older guides can therefore describe the same technology with a different unit name and price.
