Research costs 350 Wood and 350 Coin and takes 15 seconds. The upgrade is useful only when the army has Sohei Archers and the player can use the Sabotage ability under the active rules. It does not grant that ability to other ranged units.

Cost and prerequisites
Research it when Sohei Archers are already part of the force and the upcoming objective gives their new ability a clear use. Without Sohei Archers, the technology has no immediate field effect.
