New Mexico Immigration
New Mexico Immigration is an Industrial Age United States technology researched at the State Capitol. It adds 100 population support, reduces unit training time by 10%, and becomes cheaper and faster to research for each Immigrant Home City Card already sent.

Effect & research conditions
The base research costs 2,000 Coin and takes 30 seconds. Each Immigrant Home City Card sent reduces its cost by 100 Coin and its research time by 5 seconds. It also reduces unit training time by 10%; this does not stack with the Imperial Age training-time bonus. Research it at the State Capitol after reaching the Industrial Age.
Research condition
Available to United States from the Industrial Age. Research it at State Capitol.
When to research
Consider the technology when the United States is approaching its population limit or maintaining several unit queues. Count the Immigrant cards already sent before paying: their discounts apply to this research, not to unrelated Capitol technologies. The training reduction helps future production, while the population support is useful only if the army and economy can make use of the additional capacity.
Card-dependent research price and time
The discount scales with Immigrant Home City Cards sent before the research: each one subtracts 100 Coin and 5 seconds from this technology’s listed base cost and time. Its base is 2,000 Coin and 30 seconds. Plan the timing around the cards already used; the discount is part of New Mexico Immigration’s own research and is not a general reduction to all technologies.
Training bonus and stacking rule
The technology reduces unit training time by 10%, but that reduction does not stack with the Imperial Age train-time bonus. Treat the stated reduction as a production option for future units, not an additional multiplier on top of that Imperial bonus. The population support and the training effect solve different constraints, so choose the timing based on the one currently limiting the army.
