Role, availability & values
Send the Palace Builder to a site with enough protection and room for the structure, then use the completed Palace’s civilization-specific roster to support the army. Because the wagon builds rapidly, the window in which it is exposed is shorter than normal construction, but it can still be intercepted or destroyed. Keep the site covered until the building can function safely.

Matchup & timing
Choose the Palace Builder when the army benefits from another Palace and the destination can be defended. Check the available unit and upgrade choices for the current African civilization before planning around it. A free building still occupies space, requires a secure location and commits the player to using its production effectively.
The wagon’s cost is its travel and exposure
The Palace Builder supplies the Palace without its normal construction cost and builds it at three times the normal rate. Its 500 hit points and 20% siege resistance help it survive incidental pressure, but it is not a combat unit. Choose a legal site before dispatch, escort it across exposed ground and make sure the finished structure can be protected after the wagon transforms.

The Palace provides military production and upgrades, but the units and research available depend on the African civilization and game version. Decide what role the Palace will serve before placing the builder: a free building still occupies space and creates value only if its roster supports the current army. The mobile builder lets the player place production near a safe frontier, but an isolated Palace can be lost before it contributes.
