Rohatyna is a Fortress Age technology accessed through a Trading Post or Tambo on a House of Vasa palace. It enables Companions to use Lance Charge and inflict Bleeding damage, adding offensive abilities to the Vasa cavalry line.

Effect & research conditions
Research costs 300 Food and 300 Coin and takes 30 seconds. Its effect is specific to Companions; it does not grant the charge or Bleeding effect to all cavalry. Secure the required House of Vasa settlement and check the Companion’s ability panel after research to see how the active version handles the charge.

When to research
Research before a cavalry engagement where Companions can charge exposed targets and withdraw safely. Use supporting units to prevent the charge from being intercepted by anti-cavalry troops. If the army does not contain Companions or the opponent is holding a tight defensive line, the technology may be less useful than direct production.
Abilities reward a clear charge path
Rohatyna changes the Companion’s attack options, so the value depends on creating space for the charge. Scout the approach, choose an isolated or vulnerable target and keep supporting troops close enough to screen counters. Bleeding adds pressure after the initial hit, but the technology does not remove the Companion’s need to reach the target. Its House of Vasa access should be secured before the army relies on these abilities.
