Teepee
The Teepee is a Lakota support building that improves nearby units and Villager gathering. Its local effects reward placement near the force or economy that will use them, while selected Home City Cards and technologies can add further functions.

Function & construction
Lakota Villagers and selected units can construct Teepees. New Ways and Friendly Territory are examples of cards that enable additional research or effects. The available bonuses depend on the current deck and technology rules, so a Teepee’s value is not limited to its basic nearby support.
Placement & timing
Place Teepees where nearby units or workers can benefit, inside an area the army can defend. Spread them across useful positions rather than clustering all support in one vulnerable location. Add card-enabled research when it supports the army plan, and scout before sending builders into contested ground.
Lakota support aura and card effects
Teepee is a Lakota Exploration Age support building that costs 50 Wood, takes 10 seconds to build and can be placed up to 20 times. It has 600 hit points, line of sight 22 and a 2-by-2 footprint. Lakota Villagers and selected units such as Cetan Bowmen, Club Warriors or Wakina Rifles can build it when the required card is available. Teepees improve nearby unit hit points and Villager gathering; the Lakota Lands Big Button technology adds a unit-speed effect. Friendly Territory can improve unit rate of fire, while Nomadic Expansion adds a building-rate effect and New Ways enables Arsenal technologies. These functions depend on the active cards and research, so check what is unlocked before planning a Teepee network. Place the structures near the army or workers that will benefit, but spread them across defensible positions rather than clustering all support in one vulnerable area. Their 600 hit points are modest, so a forward Teepee needs protection. Teepees let Lakota use map placement to support mobility and economy, but builders and resources should not be diverted from urgent unit production.
Lakota placement network
A Teepee costs only 50 Wood, so Lakota can establish several support sites across the map, up to the limit of 20. The benefit depends on nearby units and Villagers: place buildings where the force or economy will actually receive the hit-point and gathering support. A forward Teepee can extend coverage but has only 600 hit points, so it should sit behind a protected line rather than on an exposed route. Card-enabled effects change the value of the network; Lakota Lands adds speed, Friendly Territory improves rate of fire, Nomadic Expansion affects building speed, and New Ways opens Arsenal research. Decide which of these are active before spreading builders. Protect the structures and avoid placing them so far apart that the army cannot respond if an opponent attacks one.
Lakota card choices
Friendly Territory, New Ways and Nomadic Expansion each change the Teepee’s available role. Check the Home City deck before assigning builders or expecting a technology bonus.
Protecting support sites
The basic building has 600 hit points, so keep Teepees within the army’s ability to defend them. A spread-out network offers coverage but can be removed one exposed site at a time.
Lakota aura and construction
The Teepee is a Lakota building that provides nearby friendly units with additional hit points and improves Villager gathering rates. It costs 50 Wood, takes ten seconds to build, has 600 hit points and a standard limit of 20. Native Villagers and their counterparts can construct it; Cetan Bowmen, Club Warriors and Wakina Rifles can also build one when the Nomadic Expansion card is active. Lakota already begin with population capacity, so the Teepee’s value is its support aura and access to card-enabled improvements rather than ordinary housing. Place it where workers or an army can remain within its area, not at an isolated spot that provides no useful coverage.
Technology and card interactions
Several effects can add functions to the Teepee. Lakota Lands increases nearby unit speed through its big button technology; Friendly Territory improves unit attack rate of fire; Nomadic Expansion lets specified units construct Teepees and improves build rate; New Ways allows Arsenal technologies to be researched. These effects have separate requirements and should not be assumed to apply automatically from the base building. A Teepee network can support workers and troops across a broad area, but each site costs Wood and must be placed where it will be used. If the army is moving rapidly, arrange coverage along its route or preserve a mobile force outside the aura. A Teepee that is too far from the actual engagement contributes little, while one in a contested area needs protection.
