Woodland Dwellers

Woodland Dwellers is an Exploration Age Haudenosaunee Longhouse technology that delivers a 500-Wood crate for each ten-minute interval of game time, up to 30 minutes. The effect is a timed resource reward, not a Wood gathering-rate upgrade.

Effect & research conditions

Research costs 250 Food and 250 Coin and takes ten seconds. The schedule can provide up to three 500-Wood crates at ten-minute intervals, depending on research timing and elapsed game time. The Longhouse must be available, and the Wood is collected from the delivered crates rather than gathered automatically by Villagers.

Research condition

Haudenosaunee; Exploration Age; Longhouse. Cost: 250 Food and 250 Coin; research time: 10 seconds. One 500-Wood crate per ten-minute interval up to 30 minutes.

When to research

Research when future Wood will support planned construction or production and enough time remains for multiple intervals. Leave room and workers to collect each crate safely. If the match is short or the army needs immediate Wood for a building, compare the delayed rewards with gathering or spending the resources directly.

Timed crates, not faster chopping

Woodland Dwellers supplies one 500-Wood crate every ten minutes, up to the 30-minute cap. The effect does not increase Villager gathering from trees and is not a renewable trickle beyond the listed intervals. The maximum schedule is three crates, provided the technology's timing leaves all intervals available. Collect the crates and use them for planned buildings or production.

Research before the intervals pass

The Exploration Age Longhouse research costs 250 Food and 250 Coin and takes ten seconds. Researching late means fewer future ten-minute rewards; it cannot restore an interval that has already passed. Decide whether delayed Wood supports a long match plan, and compare the cost with a current construction need. Protect the Longhouse and collection area if opponents can raid the settlement.
