Chest System

The Chest System is how new cosmetics enter your collection. Roughly every 30 minutes the cat offers you a chest, and paying 1,000 bongo beats opens it for one random hat or skin.
How it works
When a chest is ready it appears next to the cat — you can choose where it pops up relative to the cat in Settings. Clicking it opens a purchase pop-up that shows exactly how many taps will be subtracted, then the chest reveals a single random cosmetic. Every drop rolls on the rarity table: Common (90%), Uncommon (9.5%), Rare (0.49%), Epic (0.01%), and Legendary (1 in 500,000). Playing with friends in Meowtiplayer also earns a separate emoji chest that pays out chat emojis instead of wearables.
Player tips
Turn on the Chest Popup notification so you never let a ready chest sit unclaimed, and buy chests even while in Gaming Mode — a ready chest is the one thing the cat still lets you click. Duplicates are not dead weight: ten copies of the same rarity feed the Item Exchange and climb one tier up.
