Gaming Mode is the do-not-disturb switch for serious play sessions. Turn it on and the cat stops interacting with anything except a ready chest, so it can never steal your focus or misclicks mid-game.
How it works
While Gaming Mode is active, Bongo Cat ignores all interaction: it will not respond to clicks and cannot pull focus away from whatever you are playing. The one exception is a ready chest, which stays clickable so you can still collect your rewards without leaving the mode. Controller button presses keep counting toward your beats while you play. To leave Gaming Mode, focus the Bongo Cat window (Alt+Tab or the taskbar icon) and press F4, or use the exit button in the Settings menu.
Player tips
Enable Gaming Mode before launching any fullscreen game — it was added specifically so hovering over the cat never tabs you out. If you alt-tab a lot, the mode survives in the background and your chests keep arriving on schedule.
