Overview

Notes: Plan of Attack is a main mission in the Contain the Crisis questline — but unlike the quests around it, it has no objective markers, which can make it confusing. It starts automatically after Arish's Briefing (starting location: Central Zone, Field Office) and works as a tracker: the journal hints point to other quests that advance the story. The premise: the Hiss tremors are weakening the Pattern Barrier behind the Evac Site and only getting stronger — but Arish has a plan to fight back, the CFD, and needs Dylan's help to get it working.

Objectives

  1. Defeat More Resonant Entities
  2. Reroute Power through the Subway
  3. Install Probe Relays in the Sinkhole

Walkthrough

Defeat More Resonant Entities

Defeat the Resonants in the West Incursion Zone and Central Zone:

  1. The West Incursion Zone Resonant — requires Jesse Sightings: The Incursion Fault (Shift) to reach.
  2. The Central Zone Resonant — the Patterned Factory in Central.

The objective completes after both are defeated.

Reroute Power through the Subway

Requires completing the main quest Power Lines — reroute power from the city grid through the subway stations (Perimeter, Factory, East Park, and the vanished station). The objective completes when that quest does.

Install Probe Relays in the Sinkhole

Requires completing Into the Sinkhole — descend in the diving bell and install the probe relays at the bottom of the Sinkhole. The objective completes when that quest does.

Completion

After all three sub-missions are finished, Plan of Attack completes and the next main quest, Enemy of My Enemy, begins.

Rewards

None — this is a pure tracker quest. The rewards come from the sub-quests themselves.
