History of Vale Sangora: Part Two
This volume describes how the Church's power in Vale Sangora grew under Bishop Athanasius of Parlita, whose crowning achievement was expanding the Svartrau Cathedral complex to include an almshouse for the poor — funded by Knyaz Tiberiu, whom the text calls a mere pawn in the bishop's bejewelled hands.
When Tiberiu Boarescu's death came in AD 1213, his son and successor Alexandru at once declared the bishop's services as advisor to the knyaz no longer needed. The surviving text breaks off mid-sentence at this point.
