Battle Banner - Minecraft Dungeons II Artifact

The Battle Banner is a support artifact in Minecraft Dungeons II that plants a war banner and grants Strength to you and every ally standing near it. Strength is one of the game's most powerful damage multipliers — testing shows it roughly doubles your damage — which is why this artifact sits at A tier on the tier list and appears in four of the best endgame builds.

Effect and cost

Activating the banner costs 45 souls and triggers a 10-second cooldown. The Strength effect only applies while you fight inside the banner's area, so positioning is the main tradeoff: you have to stay close to the planted banner to keep the bonus, which can be awkward against bosses that force you to keep moving. Creator loadouts run it as the third damage artifact next to the Fighter's Flute and the Warrior Drums; rifeye switched to it from the Grindstone for steadier damage.

When to use it

Bring the banner on any melee build that wants consistent high damage. It shines in crit setups built around weapons like the Awesomeaxe or the Pride of the Plains, where Strength multiplies with critical hits for huge bursts — one creator combo reached over 100,000 damage per jump. It also pays off in multiplayer, since the Strength aura boosts your whole party, not just you.

How to get it

The Battle Banner drops in Singer's Meadow and Humbler Huskland. Pair it with the Fighter's Flute, Warrior Drums or Grindstone for the classic endgame damage-boost stack, and keep a soul generator like the Twisted Tooth handy so the 45-soul cost never leaves you dry.
