Fighting Fungus - Minecraft Dungeons II Artifact

The Fighting Fungus is a Fighter artifact in Minecraft Dungeons II eaten by daring warriors before battle. It unleashes their rage, increasing attack speed — a pure offensive tempo tool for players who want to hit more, faster.

Effect and cost

The fungus costs 20 souls with a 5-second cooldown, so it is cheap enough to keep active through most fights. Unlike its cousin the Death Cap Mushroom, which boosts both movement and attack speed, the Fighting Fungus focuses on attack speed alone: you swing faster, which means more hits and more chances for on-hit enchantments like Lightning Surge or Thundering to trigger.

When to use it

Use the Fighting Fungus on fast melee builds where every extra swing counts. Daggers, sickles, gauntlets and other quick weapons multiply the benefit, and pairing the rage with a damage steroid — the Battle Banner, the Fighter's Flute or the Warrior Drums — makes the flurry hit as hard as it swings. It adds no damage by itself, so it shines brightest when your weapon or buffs supply the punch.

How to get it

The Fighting Fungus drops in Frozen Highlands and Humbler Huskland. Compare it with the Death Cap Mushroom and the Tempo Truffle for other attack-tempo options.
