Baby Zombie

The Baby Zombie is one of the quickest undead enemies in Minecraft Dungeons II: a pint-sized sprinter with only 8 health and a melee swipe worth 5 physical damage. It has no ranged options and no special tricks, but it hardly needs them, closing distance at a blistering 850 movement speed while its 50 poise lets it shrug off light stagger effects.
The real danger of the Baby Zombie is pack behavior. Individually its single melee attack barely registers, but a cluster of them can surround a hero before there is time to react, and their speed makes kiting them difficult. Treat every sighting as a swarm warning and reposition early rather than trading blows in place.
It is weak to blast damage (+50%), so explosives, blast-imbued weapons, and area detonations are the ideal answer: one good blast can erase an entire pack. Ranged heroes should fire while backpedaling, and melee heroes should strike and move instead of standing still, since the Baby Zombie's speed punishes stationary targets.
You will encounter it in the Frozen Highlands, at minecart stations including Archie's Ruins, Fortress Backgate, Frozen Fortress, Frozen Shipyard, Highland Cliffs, and Ice Caves. The equally swift Chicken Jockey shares the region, the explosive Creeper punishes the same clustering habits, and the ranged Bogged often fires over the swarm from behind.
