Scenario details

Lead Mapuche resistance against Spanish forces in sixteenth-century South America. Mission order and scenario notes: 1. Gods of Death and Terror — Lautaro’s people begin surrounded by Spanish pressure and must survive until help arrives. Protecting nearby villages preserves population and resources, while a rescued tribe adds a lasting choice to the force you can field 2. Servant of the Crown — Lautaro first follows Valdivia’s orders, fighting Mapuche resistance to raise three forts. When he defects, cross the river with stolen horses to join Caupolicán, then turn the forts against the Spanish; freeing Guacolda and choosing which villagers to rescue shape later missions 3. The Battle of Tucapel — After the Mapuche alliance is forged, Lautaro gathers the resources and reinforcements needed to assault Fort Tucapel. Liberated Cunco villages provide a foothold; Poya requests and the passing Spanish convoy can unlock useful upgrades and siege support 4. The Elusive Snake — Lautaro now commands the united Mapuche forces and must find Valdivia among three coastal forts. His allies provide troops and resources while their morale holds, so protect at least one as you push toward the Spanish strongholds 5. A Taste of Freedom — Lautaro’s final campaign begins with a battered rebellion facing Valdivia and his auxiliaries outside Santiago. Rebuild the army, win back the Mapuche tribes, and dismantle the city’s unfinished districts before taking on Valdivia himself Use the named objectives, starting setup, and mission order in this entry to distinguish it from the standard skirmish rules.
