CAMPAIGN · DYNASTIES OF INDIA
Renunciation
The Hunas are led by three Khans spread across separate camps, and removing all three ends the mission. Monks can convert the leaders to gain their camps as allies; the Pratiharas and Multan offer optional ways to gather support or weaken the Huna forces.

Overview
The Hunas are led by three Khans spread across separate camps, and removing all three ends the mission. Monks can convert the leaders to gain their camps as allies; the Pratiharas and Multan offer optional ways to gather support or weaken the Huna forces.
Player approach
Renunciation begins beside a river, making a Dock and warships useful against raids. The Huna Khans can be converted or defeated, while Pratihara diplomacy offers another route to weaken the hostile force.
Step-by-step plan
Build a Dock early and patrol likely crossings with warships, then wall river passes where land units can cross. Scout beyond the base for stone, which is not available at the starting site. Use Rathas and Battle Elephants against the Huna army while Monks convert the Khans to take over their force and base. Accept the Pratihara alliance if it helps create another front, then use the combined army to clear the remaining objectives.
Risks and adjustments
The river defenses do not replace ground protection, and stone must be gathered outside the starting base. Keep Monks behind the army and protect them while converting the Khans.
