Player approach
The Boiling Lake begins on two islands, with civilians and ships separated from the army. Capture the Gaia Trade Carts and bring them to the marked exchange area to obtain Bombard Cannons.
Step-by-step plan
Use the military island force to contain Cortés and let the starting fight draw the Spanish toward the Tlaxcalan troops. Scout east to locate the Trade Carts, then move them one at a time to the marked tiles between the flags. Protect the civilian island’s Villagers and ships, and use the Bombard Cannons to break the fortifications required by the scenario.
Risks and adjustments
The exchange can produce only one Cannon per cart placed at once in some versions. Do not stack carts on the trigger area, and preserve transports because the mission’s islands constrain movement.
