Overview

Gajah Mada seeks to extend Majapahit influence across the archipelago. Protect the settlers on Bali, Borneo, and Sulawesi so their markets can support the war, then overcome two rival kingdoms by land or sea.

Player approach

The Oath to Unify Nusantara is a naval mission where vulnerable Majapahit Settlers establish island colonies. Keep those settlements alive so they can grow and contribute resources while your fleet secures the water.

Step-by-step plan

Use Fishing Ships and Fish Traps to strengthen the economy, then build enough naval production to patrol the settlers’ islands and likely landing routes. Add transport escorts before sending Villagers to reinforce a colony, and provide tribute if a damaged settlement cannot afford its Town Center. Expand toward the island bases gradually, replacing lost Fishing Ships and focusing enemy naval threats before they reach the colonies.

Risks and adjustments

The settler groups begin without a defending army and can be overrun before their resource support develops. Keep patrols nearby, and do not spend the entire economy on ships while leaving the home base open to landings.
