Overview

A Kingdom of Our Own can collapse Sarus’s entire faction by defeating its hero after he appears near the Castle. Trigger the appearance only when the army is positioned to focus him, then turn the base into your own production hub.

Plan and execution

Cross the river with the military force and approach Sarus’s base together. Enter the area to spawn Sarus, then focus him immediately; use enemy Mangonel fire against his own units if the opening allows safe friendly-fire pressure. Once he falls and the faction resigns, wall the entrances, place a Town Center on the captured site, and assign Villagers to the Farms. Clear the second hilltop for room and stone, then add a Castle and Barracks so the new territory remains defensible.

Risks and adaptation

Sarus does not appear until the force approaches the base, so do not trigger him while the army is split. A successful hero strike removes a major opponent, but the captured area still needs walls, production, and a garrison before the next attack.
