A Man of God long-defense economy plan
A Man of God is a long defensive mission with no Villager production, no new Town Centers, and no Imperial Age. Preserve the Castles in Acre and Tripoli by turning limited ships, trade income, and existing units into a sustainable defense.

Overview
A Man of God is a long defensive mission with no Villager production, no new Town Centers, and no Imperial Age. Preserve the Castles in Acre and Tripoli by turning limited ships, trade income, and existing units into a sustainable defense.
Plan and execution
At the opening, regroup the army above the base and separate archers, cavalry, and infantry so each can respond quickly. Use Longbowmen as the main ranged defense, but keep them screened from Cavalry Archers and Mamelukes; answer rams with cavalry or carefully preserved Pikemen. Keep Mangonels on Stand Ground near the line and pull them back when enemy Mangonels target them. Use Fishing Ships for food and Trade Cogs for scarce wood or gold, then repair and reinforce defenses during quieter intervals. Watch both cities and prioritize the Castle whose approach is under attack.
Risks and adaptation
Wood is scarce and units cannot be replenished like a normal economy, so avoid wasting Longbowmen or Pikemen in repeated open fights. Tripoli can be harassed while Acre faces the heavier pressure; do not assume one city is safe. The Crusader Orders’ commands are unreliable, so plan as if their support will not arrive.
