Overview

Battering Ram: Battering Rams can absorb arrow fire and deal heavy damage to buildings, but a Castle can still destroy an unsupported Ram. Their value comes from forcing a breach while the army controls the ground around them.

Plan and execution

Gather Rams with infantry or cavalry that can intercept defenders, then focus one wall or production building until the route opens. Keep units close enough to protect the Ram from melee attackers and continue pressure through the breach rather than leaving it isolated.

Risks and adaptation

Castles and melee defenders can punish a Ram without support. Do not build one and send it alone toward a fortified base; wait until the army is ready to escort it.
