Black Forest map strategy
Black Forest’s dense tree lines divide the map into narrow approaches, so controlling a few gaps can shape the whole match.

Overview
Black Forest’s dense tree lines divide the map into narrow approaches, so controlling a few gaps can shape the whole match.
Plan and execution
Scout passages early, coordinate with allies before walling, and protect the crossings most likely to carry reinforcements. Use Outposts or mobile scouts to watch hidden routes; later, escort Battering Rams or other siege through a lane after the army secures its entrance.
Risks and adaptation
Walls can be cut or bypassed and a defended chokepoint can become a siege trap. Keep another route observed, avoid crowding the only exit, and protect trade or reinforcements behind the frontline.
Decision example
Scout the narrow lanes and coordinate any shared wall before sealing a route an ally needs. Outposts or occasional mobile checks reveal whether an opponent is cutting a new path through the trees. Use the secure side to grow economy and trade, but keep a reserve near the main crossing. A siege push through a choke needs room for Rams, escort units, and retreat; crowding them all into one opening can make the army vulnerable to area damage.
