Overview

Cannon Galleon: Cannon Galleons can pressure buildings from the water at very long range, making them valuable for attacking a shore base or opening a coastal route. Their slow shots and minimum range make them poor substitutes for ordinary warships.

Plan and execution

Use scouts or a naval escort to find a safe firing position beyond the main defensive line. Target the Castle, Dock, or other structure that protects a landing, while friendly warships screen against ships trying to close the distance.

Risks and adaptation

Fast ships can exploit the Cannon Galleon’s minimum range, and slow projectiles are unreliable against moving targets. Do not send it alone into a naval fight or use it to chase enemy ships.
