GUIDE · BATTLE STRATEGY
Double Archery Range
A second Archery Range sustains Archer output only when the economy can support both queues.

Overview
A second Archery Range sustains Archer output only when the economy can support both queues.
Plan and execution
Scout the response before expanding production. Keep food and gold flowing, group Archers, and reinforce one coordinated push; add Spearmen if cavalry can reach them.
Risks and adaptation
Two ranges can delay Castle Age and defense. Stop production or transition if Archers are countered or walled out. Check wood and gold before keeping both Ranges active; if the opponent walls off the lane, use saved resources for the next Age or support unit instead of feeding Archers into a closed base.
Decision example
Two Ranges produce pressure only when wood, gold, housing, and later food for upgrades can support both. Place them early enough to begin training after Feudal Age, then gather Archers into one fighting group rather than sending a trickle. Scout whether the opponent is making Scouts or Skirmishers and add a screen or change course. If the economy cannot keep both queues active, use one Range efficiently and spend the spare wood on Farms or defense.
