Feudal walling and repairs
Walls buy time when they close a real approach, while repairs can keep a breach from becoming a base-wide raid.

Overview
Walls buy time when they close a real approach, while repairs can keep a breach from becoming a base-wide raid.
Plan and execution
Scout likely entry points, wall narrow gaps with useful buildings where possible, and keep Villagers near likely pressure. Repair only the section that protects an important route or resource, while military units cover the workers.
Risks and adaptation
Walls can be bypassed, and repair costs can drain wood and Villager time. Avoid boxing workers in; if the opponent adds siege, move the economy rather than repairing indefinitely.
Decision example
Close the approaches that lead directly to food, wood, or gold before spending wood on an entire perimeter. Houses and Palisades can create a small safe pocket while a few units watch the remaining gap. When a raid begins, repair only where the Villagers can work outside enemy fire; move them to a second resource if the wall is already lost. Keep an exit for friendly troops, and update the boundary when new Farms or production buildings extend the base.
