GUIDE · BATTLE STRATEGY
Forge an Alliance three-Relic economy
Forge an Alliance ties Relic control to both gold income and diplomacy. Recover the close Relics early, then build the army needed to take the English-held one while keeping allies supplied.

Overview
Forge an Alliance ties Relic control to both gold income and diplomacy. Recover the close Relics early, then build the army needed to take the English-held one while keeping allies supplied.
Plan and execution
Send a Monk for the Relic south of the starting Monastery and place it inside to begin gold income. Take the hill Relic from the Scottish allies when the route is safe, and use a Market for trade and ally tribute. Establish Trade Carts and expand military production before marching toward the English Mining Camp Relic. Keep Monks behind a durable escort and bring the final Relic home rather than holding it in the field.
Risks and adaptation
The English Relic is protected by an army and cannot be rushed by a lone Monk. Keep the first two Relics working for you while the force grows, and do not spend tribute needed to keep an ally active.
