Overview

On Islands each player starts apart, so fishing, naval control, and transport access determine whether the economy can expand beyond its home shore.

Plan and execution

Build a Dock and maintain Fishing Ships while keeping a small food fallback on land. Use ships to protect the sea lane, scout nearby islets, and send Transport Ships with a screened landing force when the enemy coast is vulnerable.

Risks and adaptation

A fleet that loses control can expose fishing and transport at once. Watch for raids on the home island, avoid loading every Villager into one transport, and keep enough land food to recover if fishing is disrupted.
