Madrasah Monk-rush recovery plan
Madrasah returns some of the gold invested in Saracen Monks when they are killed, reducing the cost of a failed or extended Monk push. Its value depends on enough losses occurring after the Castle technology is researched.

Overview
Madrasah returns some of the gold invested in Saracen Monks when they are killed, reducing the cost of a failed or extended Monk push. Its value depends on enough losses occurring after the Castle technology is researched.
Plan and execution
Use Madrasah when a Monk rush or conversion-heavy plan is already underway and enemy focus fire is likely to kill several Monks. Keep the Monks in groups behind the frontline, rotate low-faith units to safety, and use the return to replace losses or preserve the follow-up economy. Research it only when the Castle is available and the expected Monk activity can repay the cost.
Risks and adaptation
The technology cannot prevent Monks from dying and may not pay back if they survive. Castle access and research cost make it situational; prioritize immediate Monastery upgrades or defense when the push is not yet active.
