Overview

Quelling the Rebellion starts with nine enemy production centers, so the opening should reduce their ability to replace units. Use the ready army to take a nearby outpost while your economy adds siege and support.

Plan and execution

Start Villager production and put idle workers to work immediately. Queue Battle Elephants, Fire Ships, and Monks while gathering the force near the Castle. Move northeast to capture the Northern Rebels’ small base by removing its central tower, then prepare Battle Elephants and siege for the tougher northern Castle. Use captured production to reinforce the push and secure the next centers before the enemy’s unit count grows.

Risks and adaptation

The opening force is needed to defend as well as attack. Do not send every unit north; keep a screen at home and protect Monks and siege from cavalry or ranged focus fire.
