Overview

Use scouts, vision, and visible buildings to infer which units and technologies the opponent is preparing. Check likely production sites and exposed resources, then adjust your defense before the opposing army reaches your base.

How to execute the plan

Use the starting scout and later mobile units to answer specific questions: which production buildings exist, where the opponent gathers, whether walls are complete, and what unit line is being queued. Return after an Age advance or a new building so the plan reflects the latest information.

Risks and response

A scout circling a defended base may die without learning anything useful. Prioritize unanswered questions, watch likely expansion routes, and preserve enough vision to avoid committing the army into a prepared counter.
