The Promise flag-control expansion
The Promise is won by holding the opponents’ flags, not necessarily by destroying every building. The Bohemian army is dangerous but passive until provoked, so remove the other factions and wall the approaches before choosing how to handle it.

Overview
The Promise is won by holding the opponents’ flags, not necessarily by destroying every building. The Bohemian army is dangerous but passive until provoked, so remove the other factions and wall the approaches before choosing how to handle it.
Plan and execution
Capture the western mountain force of Monks and available special units, then use them to raid the Polish base with minimal risk. Defeat the Polish and German opponents first, stationing units by their flags to secure control. Wall the passes between the cliffs before entering the Bohemian area. If choosing the Castle-trigger route, build the required three Castles inside the flagged zone only after the defenses and army are ready; otherwise hold the objective flags while containing the Bohemian force.
Risks and adaptation
The Bohemians do not attack until provoked, and triggering them too early creates an avoidable front. A flag requires a nearby unit to remain controlled, so leave a garrison and protect the capture group from raids.
