Player approach
El Cid starts alone, but after the scripted duel he recovers his caballo and receives an army from Rey Sancho. Complete that opening, then turn the converted Serfs into the first economía before expanding. (caballo, Rey Sancho, suministros, asentamiento)
Step-by-step plan
Defeat the Espad. de mandoble with El Cid, ride north to the caballo pen, and return mounted to face the Caballero. When the Villagers and army arrive, take El Cid across the river to convert the Serfs and claim their Farms and camps. Establish a Centro urbano north of the desfiladeros by the woodline, then grow the economía before pursuing the remaining objetivos. Risks and adjustments
El Cid is vulnerable before mounting and should not lead into rough terrain with the whole army. The converted Serfs are the initial economía; secure them before investing in forward production.
