Resumen
You have time to develop a second base, but Aquileia is cerrar and can become the first serious threat. Expand near the recursos west of the starting area, scout the enemy’s exposed economía, and open the campaign by reducing its ability to reinforce the fortified city. (The Belly of the Beast, puerta)
Plan and execution
Use the quiet opening to add Villagers and stabilize comida, madera, and oro income near Cremona. Raid Aquileia’s outside economía, then gather protected asedio unidades and Huskarls for an ataque on the northern puerta. After taking the city, prepare Pikemen to blunt Cremona’s Knights and apply pressure from both the north and east. Fortaleza scouting as the front changes, and do not ignore the later Cab. de exploración event: Sarus’ betrayal alters the diplomatic situation and opens a new threat. (recursos, puerta, ataque, Cab. de exploración)
Risks and adaptation
Do not expect Athaulf to execute the main assault for you; plan as though your own army must exploit every opening. Fortaleza asedio unidades behind infantería, and retain a reserve instead of sending every unit toward Cremona. The scripted betrayal can change alliances, so check diplomatic status and protect exposed resource lines before committing to the siguiente city. (Ataulfo, Fortaleza)
