Role, availability & values
The wagon has 250 hit points and moves at 4.0 speed. It must reach a legal location and complete the Monastery before its healer production, technologies and automatic Coin generation become available. The building’s exact options depend on the palace route and civilization.
Matchup & timing
Use the wagon when Athos Monastery access supports the army or economy. Choose a defensible site and escort the wagon while it crosses exposed ground. Protect the completed building if its research, healing units or passive Coin will matter over the match.
Establish the Phanar support site
The wagon has 250 hit points and 4.0 speed and builds an Athos Monastery for free. The building can provide healing, research, and Coin generation once construction finishes; exact options depend on the House of Phanar and civilization route. Place it where the army can protect the wagon and use the completed Monastery.
Use the completed monastery for support
The 250-hit-point wagon moves at 4.0 speed and establishes an Athos Monastery without the ordinary building cost. The healing, research, and Coin functions become available only after construction and depend on the House of Phanar route. Select a legal defended site and escort the wagon until the building is operating.
Athos Monasteries technology reward
The Athos Monastery Wagon is a free-building wagon in Knights of the Mediterranean. It is granted by the Athos Monasteries technology to a player who has placed a Trading Post or Tambo on a House of Phanar palace. The wagon has 250 hit points, speed 4, 18 line of sight and 20% siege resistance. It converts into an Athos Monastery at no building-resource cost, but the monastery must be placed on a mine to function.
Secure a mine before claiming the wagon
The reward is most useful when a safe mine is available and the player can protect a new economic site. Scout the mine before researching or relying on the technology; if all nearby deposits are exposed, the wagon may be forced into a vulnerable position. Escort it to the deposit, then defend the completed Monastery so its Coin generation and unique improvements can support the match. The palace settlement access, technology and mine requirement are all specific to the relevant expansion rules, so this wagon should not be treated as a generic Bank Wagon or ordinary Monastery builder.
