Horsemanship
Horsemanship is a Lakota Big Button technology researched at a Farm. In the current Definitive Edition rules identified after update 13.12327, it reduces cavalry training time by 33% and increases cavalry bonus damage against Walls by 1.0. The research costs 500 Coin and takes 10 seconds. Its current effect supports faster mounted production and gives cavalry a specific siege interaction; earlier Definitive Edition versions instead increased cavalry hit points by 10%, so the version boundary matters.

Effect & research conditions
Research the technology at the Farm when Lakota cavalry production is active or planned. The current training-time reduction applies to subsequent cavalry production, while the bonus against Walls matters when mounted units attack fortifications. Do not apply the older hit point effect to the current ruleset; compare the game version or patch state before using historical data.
Research condition
Lakota; researched at a Farm; Exploration Age; costs 500 Coin; 10-second research time. Current Definitive Edition after update 13.12327: cavalry training time -33%, cavalry bonus damage vs Walls +1.0. Before that update: cavalry hit points +10%.
When to research
Choose the current effect when repeated cavalry production or a wall-pressure plan justifies spending 500 Coin. It is less useful if the army is not using cavalry or if the 10-second research will delay a more urgent action. A guide for a pre-update version should describe the former hit point bonus separately.
Read the current effect separately from older guides
After Definitive Edition update 13.12327, Horsemanship reduces Lakota cavalry training time by 33% and adds 1.0 cavalry bonus damage against Walls. Earlier Definitive Edition versions instead gave cavalry 10% more hit points. These are different effects: do not combine the current production and wall bonuses with the older health bonus when planning a build or comparing patch notes.
Use faster production and wall pressure deliberately
The current technology is researched at the Lakota Farm for 500 Coin in ten seconds. The training reduction matters when cavalry production is active and the army needs reinforcements sooner; the wall modifier matters only when cavalry attacks Walls. It does not improve every attack or make cavalry a substitute for dedicated siege. Research it when the current army and target can use those specific benefits.
