Role, availability & values

The force costs 1,600 Export, occupies 30 population and takes 60 seconds to arrive. Chakram Throwers provide ranged pressure, Tiger Claws fight at close range, and the War Elephant supplies a durable heavy unit. The long delivery and population cost affect the rest of the army plan.

Training & availability

Campaign-only Chinese Consulate Banner Army in Act II: China; Industrial Age; select Indian Mercenaries; 1,600 Export; 60 seconds; 30 population; 15 Chakram Throwers, 12 Tiger Claws and 1 War Elephant.

Matchup & timing

Choose it when the mission gives time to prepare and this mix fits the threats. Keep the Elephant with support and use ranged units to soften targets before infantry closes. If the objective is under immediate pressure, account for the 60-second wait.

Campaign availability matters

The Chinese campaign uses scripted Consulate choices that differ from ordinary random-map options. This army is tied to the Indian alliance and Industrial Age in Act II: China; do not generalize its availability to other modes.

Campaign access and exact cost

This force is available only to the Chinese in Act II: China. At the Consulate, choose Indian Mercenaries and reach the Industrial Age; the company then costs 1,600 Export, takes 60 seconds and uses 30 population. Its 28 units are delivered together, so reserve population and start the long training window before the mission’s main engagement.

Mixed force for a prepared push

The 15 Chakram Throwers provide the ranged component, while 12 Tiger Claws and a War Elephant can advance as the close-range screen. Keep the force together so the ranged units and elephant are not exposed independently. Its large population and Export cost make it a planned campaign army rather than an emergency answer; check the mission objective and wait time before committing.
