Learicorn
Learicorn is a hostile cavalry cheat unit hidden in the basic Age of Empires III tutorial. The “don’t kick the pitbull” code can summon it in a cheat-enabled game, and the Scenario Editor can place it in a custom encounter. It appears as a man in a tuxedo riding a unicorn. Its attack can defeat ordinary units in a single hit, but its 600 hit points are modest compared with the health of some other special summons.

Tutorial, access & values
The recorded profile lists 600 hit points, 90% hand resistance, speed 7.5 and line of sight 12. Its hand attack deals 800 damage every second. Trample deals 533 damage in an area of effect 9 every two seconds; its siege attack deals 500 damage at range 6 every two seconds. These are cheat-unit values. The Food, Coin and Experience fields in the data do not make it a normal Stable unit.
Encounter behavior
The tutorial encounter is a discovery event, not a cavalry upgrade path. The documented route is to build a Dock, construct a Caravel and transport a land unit to the northeastern side of the tutorial map; Learicorn is hostile and exceptionally dangerous when found. The Scenario Editor is the controlled way to place it for a custom battle. Keep ordinary units out of its reach unless the scenario specifically expects them to face the one-hit threat.
Practical direction
In a custom scenario, its lower durability relative to other cheat units can create a brief but lethal encounter. Its speed and area Trample attack threaten groups, while the siege attack can target structures at range. Design the approach and objective around those behaviors rather than presenting Learicorn as a balanced cavalry counter. When exploring the tutorial, protect the transported unit and avoid sending additional forces into its attack area without a clear purpose.
The tutorial contains a hidden hostile encounter
The special unit can be encountered by transporting a land unit to the northeastern side of the basic tutorial after building a Dock and a Caravel. It is hostile, so the discovery route leads to combat rather than a friendly reveal. The Scenario Editor also supports placement through its object controls, which is the safer method for testing the unit or staging a custom mission.
A small health pool does not make it a fair opponent
Learicorn has 600 hit points, but the 800-damage hand attack, 533-damage Trample attack and 500-damage siege attack make its offensive profile far beyond ordinary cavalry. Its area of effect 9 on Trample can threaten several nearby units at once. The 90% hand resistance and speed 7.5 further complicate a melee response. Evaluate it as a scripted cheat encounter rather than by normal cavalry matchup expectations.
